Operate devices compatible with BlueSecur using the Hörmann BlueSecur app.
You can send permissions (keys) to family or friends through various means such as text message, email, or messenger. The transmission of keys is facilitated via a certified server located in Germany, allowing for key sharing even when away from home. The management of keys is conveniently handled within the application.
Prior installation of the BlueSecur app on your mobile device is necessary. Users who have not installed the app will be directed to the appropriate app store.
Information on the BlueSecur app:
<ul>
<li>Add a device by scanning the QR code.</li>
<li>Setup and operation do not depend on an Internet connection.</li>
<li>Permissions (keys) are generated on the administrator's app and can be granted temporarily or permanently, with the ability to revoke them as needed.</li>
<li>While sets of keys may require a fee, one-time keys are provided at no cost.</li>
<li>A maximum of 250 users can be accommodated.</li>
<li>An external antenna is available as an optional accessory to address range limitations.</li>
</ul>
It is important to note that utilizing Bluetooth in the background of your mobile phone may impact its battery life.
